  1. Are pets allowed on the premises?

    No. Pets are not allowed on the premises or in the outdoor areas. However, our staff can recommend pet boarding facilities near the estate for the duration of your stay.

  2. What is the check-in process like at Château de la Barbinière?

    Check-in takes place at the front desk located inside the castle itself. Since the estate is quite large, we ask that you not take your luggage with you right away so that we can direct you to the parking lot closest to your room.

    Rooms are available starting at 4:00 p.m.

    The latest check-in time is 10:30 p.m. After this time, a digital check-in procedure will be sent to you so that you can access your room.

    If you arrive early, you may leave your personal belongings at the hotel front desk.

  3. Are there electric vehicle charging stations?

    Yes, our charging stations are part of the Freshmile network. Payment for charging
    is made directly by credit card at the station. A connection fee of €0.75 is
    applied, plus a charge of €0.50 per kWh consumed. Since the stations are available on a
    self-service basis, we are unfortunately unable to reserve charging spots.

  4. Does the Château de la Barbinière have a parking lot?

    Yes. We have free parking on the property.

  5. Is the tourist tax included in the room rate?

    No. It’s 1.90€ per person per night.

  6. What payment methods are accepted?

    We accept payments by credit card (Visa,
    Mastercard, and American Express), cash, and check. We do not accept Chèques Vacances or Tickets Restaurant.

  7. Can I change or cancel my reservation?

    Yes, you can modify or
    cancel your reservation directly through the booking platform, on our website, or by contacting us by phone.

    Our cancellation policy is as follows:

    From April 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026:

    • Up to
      15 days before arrival: free cancellation
    • Between
      14 days and 3 days prior to arrival: 50% of the reservation amount will be charged
    • From
      2 days prior: 100% of the reservation amount will be charged

    From November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027:

    • Before 2 days prior to arrival: free cancellation
    • From
      Day 2: 100% of the reservation amount will be charged

Restaurant

    Yes, the menus change with the
    seasons to highlight the freshest
    ingredients, carefully selected by our chef and his team.
