With 13 hectares of wooded grounds, the Château de la Barbinière offers the perfect outdoor setting for your wedding or reception. Nestled in a lush, flower-filled setting—among century-old oaks, rows of ash trees, and blooming camellias—the grounds of Château de la Barbinière lend charm and authenticity to your outdoor events, making it the perfect venue for:

• A luncheon or dinner cocktail reception on the estate’s esplanade, located between the Pavilion and the château.
• A reception in the height of summer, in the shaded woods and along the paths of the Pavillon.
• An outdoor secular ceremony in the shade of the fir trees to celebrate your union.

The Château de la Barbinière also has several parking lots, including one adjacent to the Pavillon, which can accommodate over a hundred vehicles. Please note that pets are not allowed on the estate.

Scattered throughout the estate, between the château and its outbuildings, the Château de la Barbinière features 31 rooms that can accommodate approximately 90 people, allowing you and your guests to stay close to the venue where your wedding or reception is taking place.
Designed to accommodate between 2 and 4 people, Château de la Barbinière offers modern, contemporary rooms in the outbuildings, as well as more luxurious and spacious rooms on the upper floors of the main château; ensuring that you, your family, and your guests enjoy a unique and unforgettable experience in a charming 4-star hotel.

Since fine dining is a way of life at the Château de la Barbinière, our chef Nicolas Pasquier—a recognized Maître-Restaurateur—and his team offer a custom catering service featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients for your wedding or other events, whether it’s:

• A luncheon or dinner cocktail reception, indoors or outdoors, featuring savory canapés served on platters—such as gougères with aged Comté cheese and foie gras balls in Port wine jelly.
• A wine reception featuring themed culinary stations, led by our chefs who will, for example, shuck oysters, carve cold cuts, and grill meats à la plancha right in front of your guests.
• A sit-down meal, plated and served à la carte, featuring authentic French cuisine that emphasizes fresh ingredients, with the option of a tiered wedding cake or a traditional wedding cake for dessert.
• A brunch featuring charcuterie and cheese platters or club sandwiches to share during your evening dance party, in case the luncheon has run long.
• A follow-up event the day after your wedding, in the form of a well-stocked brunch buffet featuring both savory and sweet items, so you can enjoy your guests’ company once more.

Our catering service is not mandatory for your wedding or reception. You are free to hire an outside caterer for your event.

A true highlight of the Château de la Barbinière, the Pavillon is a 600m² event space designed and conceived in the iconic style of a period orangery. Located at the far end of the estate, on the edge of the Bois de la Barbinière, the Pavillon offers, thanks to its large glass walls, a panoramic view of the rear of the château, lending the venue a certain majesty.
Bathed in natural light, Le Pavillon is fully equipped with the following amenities to ensure your event runs smoothly:

• Air conditioning or heating as needed.
• Round and rectangular tables, high tables, and neutral-colored chairs for up to 300 guests.
• A removable stage to accommodate a band and DJ, with an adjoining green room.
• State-of-the-art sound system and adjustable lighting.
• A dance floor that takes center stage.
• Coat check at the entrance to the Pavilion.
• Bar open to the main hall as well as to the outdoor area so your guests can enjoy the terrace.
• Professional kitchen for your caterer or our kitchen staff.
• Backup generator in case of a power outage.

The room’s floor space is also adjustable depending on the number of guests, allowing for a space that’s both suitable and on a human scale. The Pavilion’s architecture and high ceilings also make it possible to set up decorations such as drapes or string lights.
